Middletown is made up of several smaller areas to make a large township. It is over 40 square miles and each area has a very distinct flavor. Locust and Chapel Hill are horse country with several large farms and estates in the area. Locust and Navesink also have homes along the Navesink River on Navesink River Rd and Locust Point Rd. There is a village of Navesink with historic homes. The area of Navesink through Chapel Hill along Kings Highway is very historic and continues into Middletown village by the train station. On the west side of Middletown is Lincroft and Swimming River which borders Holmdel and Colts Neck with more farms and historic homes. On its most Eastern part is the bayside, which included ocean front towns such as Belford and Port Monmouth. There is a wide diversity of homes in the area from waterfront estates along the Navesink in the millions of dollars, to large family homes built in the last 20/30 years ranging from $350,000 to $900,000 and small homes and condos for under $300,000. There is something for everybody in Middletown! Including the waterfront estate of Jon Bon Jovi and old colonial home in the Village section of Maury Povitch.
